Iron Maiden announces ‘07 summer tour

FUCKYEAH!  So, 25 years ago a little known band released a so-so album.  That little known band?  IRON MAIDEN.  The album?  NUMBER OF THE BEAST. To acknowledge the anniversary of quite possibly one of the greatest Metal albums of all time, the band will be hitting the road.

“A Matter of the Beast Summer Tour ‘07″ will be in Europe through June. No US Dates announced yet.  But stay tuned.

The set list will include 5 songs from Number of the Beast and 5 songs from their current release, “A Matter of Life and Death” — Which, btw, has had tremendous international success. They’ll also be playing other ”Fan Favorites”.

“It’s always a lot of fun for us to play outdoors in the summer. It tends to be a different vibe to playing indoors, much more of a party atmosphere so it’s good to put together a set list that matches this. There has been a lot of interest in the 25th anniversary of the release of  ‘Number of the Beast’ so we thought it would be great to give the fans a bit of extra Beast this summer to acknowledge this.” says Bruce Dickinson
