Ozzfest 2007 Announcement - It’s FREE (as long as you sign your soul away at the gate)
Ozzy and Sharon, ok…mostly Sharon, announced last week that the ‘07 Ozzfest tour was going to be a FREE event. The 25 city tour will kick off in LA on July 7th and include stops in SF, San Antonio, Charlotte, Philly and Boston.
The event will be supported by sponsors, which tells me that concert-goers will walk into the venue and find that their local malls have followed them to the show. Just remember to pick up a sweatshirt from the Gap tent before it gets dark.
To get tix to the show, you’ll have to visit the Ozzfest site and start clicking around on their sponsors links. Bands are still TBD at this point.
I don’t mind a few commercials if I get the main product for free! Leave it up to a woman (who probably thought of the idea while shopping at the mall) to come up with this one! Good job Sharon…
