Lamb of God on Conan O’Brien
Lamb of God did what they do best on Friday nights Conan O’Brien show. They tore into Pathetic in front of an unsuspecting studio audience. From the camera angles, and lack of crowd shots, I’m guessing the folks in the studio weren’t prepared for what was unleashed on them. Or maybe they were all in a mosh.
They brought the house down though, despite being edged out for a best rock/metal Grammy by Slayer on Sunday.
I’m waiting for the day that metal performances make their way back to the music award shows. I want to say that the last TRUE metal performance was from Metallica, before we all knew Lars as the sellout money grubbing swede control-freak dwarf he is today.
